☆マイケル・ジャクソン新曲公開～ランディー・ジャクソン・ネットで17日に質疑応答

マイケル・ジャクソンの12月15日に発売される未発表曲を集めた新作アルバム『マイケル』に先がけてのシングル「ホールド・マイ・ハンド」が、2010年11月15日午前0時01分(アメリカ東部時間＝日本時間15日午後2時1分)からマイケル・ジャクソン公式ウェッブで公開された。これは、2007年にエイコンとのデュエットで録音されたもので、当時、その未完成盤がインターネットに流出していた。今回公開されたものは、トラックダウンなどがきちんとなされ、一応完成した形になっている。

■ランディーが質疑応答

質疑応答。

ところで、マイケルの今回の未発表曲のリリースに関してはさまざまな意見がでている。ウィル・アイ・アムは、はっきりと反対意見を表明しているが、ファミリー・メンバーのランディー・ジャクソンが、今回の新作発売などに関して来る11月17日にネットでファンからの質問に答えると発表した。

ランディー・ジャクソンは、最近のツイッターで、まず、「自分のファミリーがオプラに出ていて、胃が痛くなった、その痛みはいまだ消えない」とツイート。さらに、『オプラ・ウィンフリー・ショー』にキャサリン、ジョー、さらにマイケルの3人の子供たちが出たことについて、「自分には、この件は知らされていなかった。もし事前に知ったら、反対するから（知らせなかったのだろう）」とした。ランディーは、オプラに対して不快感をもっているようで、それは、ツイッターの中でも、「マイケルの子供はオプラには絶対会わせたくない（直訳だとオプラはマイケルの子供たちに会う地球上で最後の人物だ）」という。その原因は、「マイケルが裁判で戦っているときに、自分のショーの中でペドフィリア・小児性愛の特集したから。これは偶然ではなく、意図的なものだ」と思っている、という。

そこで、ランディーはファンからの質問に11月17日水曜アメリカ太平洋時間午後7時（日本時間18日木曜午後12時・昼12時）から、ツイッターで答える、という。これまでに多くのうわさが出ているが、そうしたこともはっきりさせる、としている。

■ エピック、初回出荷90万枚と発表

エピック・レコーズは、アメリカにおける『マイケル』の初回出荷枚数が90万枚になると発表した。初週におよそ34万枚売れると見ている。デジタルダウンロードは6万の見込み。ちなみに『ディス・イズ・イット』のアルバムは初週で37万3000枚、現在までに160万枚のセールスを記録している。この数字が実現すれば、アルバム・チャートで1位初登場になるだろう。
