△第52回グラミー賞予想 （パート１）発表は2010年1月31日(＝日本時間2月1日）
【52nd Grammy Predictions(Part 1)】
予想。
発表が来週に迫ったグラミー、恒例、グラミー賞予想。本ソウル・サーチン・サイトでのグラミー予想も2002年度以来8年目。僕個人でグラミーの予想を始めたのは1981年頃から。当初は、音楽業界誌ミュージック・ラボで予想していた。同誌が廃刊になった後は、単発で音楽雑誌などに寄稿していたが、2002年度からはこのウェッブで予想している。本命と対抗の合計で6割以上当てることを目標にしている。一応、過去すべて6割以上は確保している。
今年は、ビヨンセが10部門ノミネートだが、これが意外と圧倒的な強さに見えない。
2009年12月2日ロスアンジェルスのノキア・シアターで発表された第52回グラミー賞、まず、主要4部門とＲ＆Ｂ部門を予想する。
今年はビヨンセが驚異の10部門ノミネート、テイラー・スイフト(19歳のカントリー・シンガー）が8部門、ブラック・アイド・ピーズ、マックスウェル、カニエ・ウェストが6部門のノミネートを獲得している。ベスト・ニュー・アーティストには、ザック・ブラウン・バンド、ケリー・ヒルソン、MGMT、シルヴァーサン・ピックアップス、ザ・ティン・ティンズらがノミネートされている。
今年のグラミー賞は2010年1月31日（日本時間2月1日午前10時から。日本では衛星有料放送のWOWOW[ワウワウ]が生中継）ロスアンジェルスのステイプルズ・センターで発表される。

いずれの3部門も、ビヨンセ、テイラー・スイフト、レディー・ガガの3者が横並びだと思う。どれが来てもおかしくない。それぞれ25～30％くらいの得票率ではないか。しいていえば、カントリー票は手堅いが、ブラック系支持層がビヨンセとブラック・アイド・ピーズ、ポップ・ロック系支持層がレディー・ガガとブラック・アイド・ピーズに割れるのではないか。となると、するするっと、カントリー系テイラーが僅差でトップ（勝者）になる可能性がある。ビヨンセの3部門制覇というのは、ないと思う。すると、どこを落とすかという予想だが、しいていえば、「ソング」か。またアルバムも、レディー・ガガ、ブラック・アイド・ピーズもいいので、油断すると、そのあたりにもっていかれる。かつてのノラ・ジョーンズ、レイ・チャールズのときのような盤石、絶対確実という感じがしない。
