第46回グラミー賞授賞式は来年はロスアンジェルスで行われる。会場はステイプル・センター、2004年2月8日。テレビ放映はＣＢＳで放送開始時刻は東部時間午後8時から。ショウ自体が生放送される。ただし、西海岸では西部時間8時から放送されるため、3時間遅れの放送となる。
また、グラミーは通常2月の最終週あたりに発表されるが来年は少しスケジュールがはやくなっている。これは、毎年しばらく後に発表されるアカデミー賞の授賞式の日程が2月末に繰り上がってきたため、グラミーも前倒しになった。
ノミネートは、今年12月4日に発表される。これも例年より一月ほど早いスケジュールである。

The 46th annual Grammy Awards ceremony has been scheduled for Feb. 8 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. The event will be broadcast live on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET (tape delayed on the West Coast). Nominees will be announced Dec. 4.
The scheduling brings the event back to L.A., which hosted the awards for four years before returning to New York in 2003. Although normally held near the end of February, an earlier Grammy presentation accommodates the move of the film industry’s Academy Awards from its usual late March scheduling to late February in the midst of the busy awards season.
